The object of this suit is to enforce the lien of the Complainant, County of Prince William, Virginia, for delinquent real estate taxes against certain real property located in the County of Prince William, Virginia, described as follows:

All that certain lot or parcel of land lying and being situate on the east side of Weedon Road, in the Dumfries Magisterial District, in Prince William County, Virginia the same being designated as all of Lot 15 on a plat and survey made July 15, 1940, by George L. Gordon, Surveyor of Stafford County, and of record in the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office for Prince William County, Virginia as Plat Book 5, Page 36 and more fully described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the east side of said Weedon Road, the same being the southwest corner of Lot No. 16 and running thence with the line of said Lot No. 16 in an easterly direction a distance of 174 feet to the line of the land owned or formerly owned by McInteer; thence S. 19 ¾° E. with the line of the said McInteer tract a distance of 194 feet to the northeast corner of Lot No. 14; thence with the line of said Lot 14 in a westerly direction a distance of 276 feet to the east side of said Weedon Road and thence in a northerly direction wieth the east side of Weeden Road a distance of 179 feet, more or less to the point of the beginning.

LESS and EXCEPT that portion of land conveyed to the Commonwealth of Virginia by Certificate of Take recorded on October 8, 1991 in the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office for Prince William County, Virginia as Deed Book 1833, Page 0119.

And being the same real property conveyed to Dora R. Pople from Sadie Cole and David Cole by Deed dated and recorded on August 2, 1941 in the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office for Prince William County, Virginia as Deed Book 106A, Page 474.

This description is made subject to all easements, conditions, agreements, restrictions, and reservations of record which affect the property herein described including but not limited to those recorded in Deed Book 1833, Page 119.

Gordon, Surveyor of Stafford County, and of record in the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office for Prince William County, Virginia as Plat Book 5, Page 36 and more fully described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the east side of said Weedon Road, the same being the southwest corner said tract of land that was conveyed to the said Sadie Cole, as aforesaid, and running thence in a southerly direction with the east side of said road a distance of 496 feet to the northwest corner of Lot No. 15, a distance of 174 feet to the line of the tract owned or formerly owned by McInteer ; thence N. 19 ¾ W. with the line of the said McInteer tract a distance of 520 feet to t a stake in the line of land owned or formerly owned by the Federal Government; thence in a westerly direction a distance of 18 feet to the point of the beginning.

And being the same real property conveyed to Dora R. Pople from Sadie Cole and David Cole by Deed dated August 14, 1940 and recorded on August 21, 1940 in the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office for Prince William County, Virginia as Deed Book 105, Page 281.

This description is made subject to all easements, conditions, agreements, restrictions, and reservations of record which affect the property herein described including but not limited to those recorded in Plat Book 5, Page 36.

IT APPEARING that an Affidavit has been made and filed stating that due diligence has been used, without effect, to ascertain the identity and location of certain parties to be served, that the last known addresses for the Respondents herein are as follows: Dora R. Popel Gebo Estate, who is believed to be deceased and whose last known address is 16921 Batestown Rd., Dumfries, Virginia 22025; Tax Map No. 8189-27-5586, Account No. 008264; Samuel H. Popel, Jr.; Fannie Idela Cole Reynolds; Thomas S. Reynolds; Samuel Lee Reynolds; Bessee B. Reynolds; Maggie Reynolds Mills; Milton Clarence Mills; Lucy Davis Mills; Beulah Mills West; Violet Rose West Kendall; Sylvia May Kendall Carter Key; Harold Lloyd West; Martha Alice West; Cora Reynolds Hardman Daniels; Abraham Lincoln Williams; Margaret Roberta Williams Thomas Parker; Donald Lee Thomas; Rosie Nan Bledsoe Thomas Darden; Joseph G. Popel III; Helen Barnes Popel Martin; Joseph P. Martin, who is believed to be deceased and whose last known address is unknown; Esther B. Popel Shaw, who are all believed to be deceased and whose last known address is unknown; Esther Patricia Shaw, whose last known address is unknown; Arnold L. Thomas, whose last known address is 143 Skyline Dr., Fredericksburg, Virginia 22406; and that any officers, heirs, devisees, and successors in title of the Respondent named herein are made parties Respondent to this action individually and/or by the general description of Parties Unknown, it is hereby

ORDERED that the parties herein and all Parties Unknown and/or whose location cannot be ascertained appear on or before Thursday, April 4, 2024 in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of the County of Prince William, Virginia, and do what may be necessary to protect their interests in this cause.
