The Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) will hold a public hearing on September 12, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. The public hearing will address the proposed Interim Agreement with Franconia Development Partners, a Virginia limited liability company, whose members consist of SCG Development Partners, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, Good Shepherd Housing & Family Services, Incorporated, a Virginia nonstock corporation, and NFP Affordable Housing Corp., a Delaware nonstock corporation, for the development of the 3.26-acre property at 6121 Franconia Road, Alexandria, having Fairfax County Tax Numbers 0813 05 0003A, 0813 05 0002A, 0813 05 0002B, 0813 05 0002C1, and 0813 08 0503, and being called the Franconia Governmental Center Redevelopment Project, to create up to 120 affordable residences for low- to moderate-income households, together with surfaced and structured parking, pursuant to the Public-Private Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act of 2002, as amended Va. Code Ann §§ 56-575.1-575. 16 (PPEA).

In accordance with the requirements of the PPEA Guidelines of Fairfax County, adopted pursuant to Va. Code Ann. §§ 56-575.1-575.16, a copy of the Interim Agreement has been posted online with the Fairfax County Department of Procurement and Material Management

(https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/procurement/ppea/franconia-governmental-center-redevelopment). Electronic copies of the documents may also be obtained by contacting the Office of the Clerk to the Board of Supervisors at ClerktotheBOS@fairfaxcounty.gov, or by calling 703-324-3151.

The meeting will be held at the Fairfax County Government Center, located at 12000 Government Center Pkwy, Fairfax, VA 22035, in Conference Rooms 9 and 10. Written comments may be submitted by email on or before September 10, 2024 to Mohammedalkhatim.Abdel-Kariem@fairfaxcounty.gov.
