10:30 a.m. Public hearing on the County and Schools' FY 2024 Carryover Review to amend the appropriation level in the FY 2025 Revised Budget Plan.

3:30 p.m. PCA 2011-MV-031/CDPA 2011-MV-031 (RZPA 2022-MV-00093) - CIA-2550 HUNTINGTON, LLC, PCA and CDPA Appl(s). to amend the proffers and conceptual development plan for RZ 2011-MV-031, previously approved for mixed-use development with multi-family residential, hotel, and office uses with ground floor retail, to permit multi-family residential development with ground floor retail uses and associated modifications to proffers and site design at a density of 4.04 FAR. 3:30 p.m. RZ 2023-MV-00003 - CHARLES P. JONES AND MATTHEW D. JONES, RZ Appl. to rezone from R-2 and HC to R-3 and HC to permit 11 single-family detached dwellings with a total density of 2.72 dwelling units per acre (du/ac). Located on the E. side of Lukens Ln., S. of its intersection with Richmond Hwy. on approx. 4.04 ac. of land. Comp. Plan Rec: Residential 2-3 DU/AC. Mount Vernon District. 4:00 p.m. Public hearing to consider adoption of an amendment to Chapter 118 of the Code of the County of Fairfax, Virginia. Pursuant to the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act, the Virginia Code, and the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Area Designation and Management Regulations, the amendment proposes to incorporate criteria regarding the preservation of mature trees or planting of trees, coastal resilience, and adaptation to sea-level rise and climate change. The proposed ordinance also adds provisions requiring assessment of impacts to sea level rise and storm surge on projects within the Resource Protection Area (RPA), limitations on the placement of fill in the RPA, adaptation measures in the RPA subject to certain criteria. The proposed ordinance further provides that the Director may exempt living shorelines from certain performance criteria, and includes clarification of appeals of decisions made by the Board of Supervisors, and other minor changes and editorial corrections. 4:00 p.m. Citizens and Businesses of Fairfax County are encouraged to present their views on issues of concern. The Board will hear public comment on any issue except issues under litigation, issues which have been scheduled for public hearing before the Board (this date and future dates), personnel matters and/or comments regarding individuals. Each speaker may have up to three minutes and a maximum of 10 speakers will be heard. Speakers may address the Board only once during a six-month period. Individuals wishing to provide public comment must sign up in advance no later than 12:00 p.m. on the day of the public comment period either online at https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/bosclerk/speakers-form or by calling 703-324-3151.
