Notice of Intent to Enter Sole Source Contract

Mundo Verde Public Charter School intends to enter into a sole source contract with EmpowerK12. EmpowerK12 aims to use data to inform our strategic decisions and day-to-day instructional work. Mundo Verde needs robust analytics and an easy-to-digest dashboard solution provided by an organization that has insight not only into education data but, specifically into Washington, D.C. education. We need expertise in Washington, D.C. accountability rules, historical data, and data by demographics across the city. We also need data insight specifically related to our context and student population.

EmpowerK12 has been delivering these services and expertise for Mundo Verde since 2018 and they have a unique combination of technical expertise, education expertise, and deep insight into Washington, D.C. data through their network of partner schools and long-term experience. Based on our experience working with and the unique capabilities they offer, it is in our best interest to continue our partnership with them.

The cost of this annual renewable contract will be approximately $55,000.00. This notice serves for the next three (3) years.
