PLANNING COMMISSION

NOTICE is hereby given under Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia as amended, that a meeting of the Fairfax County Planning Commission Public is to be held at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, Virginia 22035.

The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing where interested persons may appear and present their views at the place identified above regarding the proposed repeal of (1) Chapter 112.1 (Zoning) of the Code of the County of Fairfax and (2) the enactment clause of Chapter 112.2 (Zoning) stating that, for any period when Chapters 112.1 and 112.2 are both in effect, Chapter 112.1 will supersede Chapter 112.2 (the “supersession clause”). Except for the supersession clause, Chapter 112.2 is not proposed to be repealed. The Commission may make appropriate changes in the proposals as a result of the hearing. Copies of the staff report and the proposed ordinance changes may be examined online at https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/planning-development/zoning-ordinance/amendments and at the Zoning Administration Division, Department of Planning and Development, 12055 Government Center Parkway, Suite 801, Fairfax, Virginia 22035. At the public hearing, interested persons will be given an opportunity to express their view regarding the application.
