The object of this suit is to obtain a step-parent adoption of the above-captioned minor child and a name change of said child.

It appearing by affidavit that the birth father of the above-captioned minor child's last known residential address was in LaPlace, Louisiana, and upon information and belief the birth father is not a resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia, although his exact whereabouts are unknown to Plaintiff, it is ORDERED that the defendant appear before this Court on or before December 2, 2024; 1:30 PM and protect his interests herein.

And it is further ORDERED that the above paragraphs be published once a week for our (4) successive weeks in The Washington Times, a newspaper of general circulation in the county of Orange, Virginia, and that the bill for said publication shall be sent to Caitlyn S. Stubbs, Esquire, Rinehart Bryant, P.L.L.C., 1259 Courthouse Road, Suite 105, Stafford, Virginia 22554, Tel: (540-369-8855)

The Clerk of this Court shall post this Order at the front door of the courthouse, and shall mail a copy of this Order to the Defendant at the post office address, if any, given in the affidavit of the Petitioner filed herein.
