REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

General Contractor

The Family Place Public Charter School (TFPPCS), in compliance with Section 2204 (c) of the District of Columbia School Reform Act of 1995 (“Act”), hereby solicits expressions of interest for General Contractor Services. The scope of work includes a Level-3 Alteration and change of use per the 2017 DC Existing Building Code for the renovation of an existing 3-story plus cellar building and various site improvements to become an adult public charter school with a daycare at its lowest level. The overall project will include interior demolition and restructuring of the existing building to provide new classrooms for adult students, a day care for student’s children, and support spaces. Equipment will include a new elevator, new utilities, plus MEP and fire suppression systems. Please email Heather Staab at hstaab@stoiberandassociates.com with any questions or clarifications.
