MULTIPLE SERVICES - SY 2024-2025

Shining Stars Montessori Academy Public Charter School is seeking bids from prospective vendors to provide:

. Legal Services: Shining Stars Montessori Academy seeks a qualified contractor to provide legal and consulting services in the area of, but not limited to, special education. compliance enforcement, Title IX, policy, professional development/service training, contract law, training, guidance on FOIA and information request, conduct legal sufficiency review, and create/review various contracts/agreements.

. Academic Support Services: Shining Stars Montessori Academy seeks a qualified contractor to provide academic support services to include, but not limited to, the following: Montessori curriculum development, literacy, math, school turnaround and intervention, services, assessment administration, scoring, analysis, and professional development to the school’s instructional faculties.

. Administrative Support Services: Shining Stars Montessori Academy seeks a qualified contractor to provide administrative support services to include, but not limited to, front office management, enrollment/admissions, management of school student and parent records, enrollment/admissions, attendance, and general front office management.

. School Apparel and Accessories: Shining Stars Montessori Academy seeks a qualified contractor to provide logo design, apparel and accessories for school staff and students.

. Related Provider Services Support: Shining Stars Montessori Academy seeks a qualified contractor to provide speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling, social work, and evaluation services for PK-3- 6th grade students.

. Communication Services: Shining Stars Montessori Academy seeks a qualified contractor to provide marketing and other communications strategies/services for school year (SY) 2023-2024. Contractor will handle public relations, information output, press releases, media requests, newsletters, videography, and social media and/or advertising efforts for the school.

. Classroom, Outdoor Playspace Materials and Furniture: Shining Stars Montessori Academy seeks a qualified contractor to provide classroom furniture and outdoor play space furniture/equipment to support students in grades PK-3-6.

. Operations Support Services: Shining Stars Montessori Academy seeks a qualified contractor to provide services to include, but not limited to, supporting the work of the operations team in the following areas (both in the school building and remotely): attendance, student records management, afterschool coordination and management, inventory management, general facilities, security maintenance, enrollment, human resource, and food services management.

. Student Transportation Services: Shining Stars Montessori Academy seeks a qualified contractor to provide transportation services for events and trips for students and/or staff.

. Human Resources, Talent Development and Acquisition Services: Shining Stars Montessori Academy seeks a qualified contractor to provide services to create an ongoing strategy to find Montessori and/or other specialists and leaders, with specific skill sets for future leadership within Shining Stars Montessori Academy.

. Building Maintenance and Management Service: Shining Stars Montessori Academy seeks a qualified contractor to provide building management, cleaning, renovation, and repair services, to include HVAC and plumbing services.

. Before and Aftercare Service: Shining Stars Montessori Academy is seeking proposals from qualified service providers to deliver high-quality before care and after care programs for elementary students. The selected provider will ensure a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for students during non-school hours. The program should align with Shining Stars’ mission and contribute to the educational and developmental goals of the school. Proposals must demonstrate a comprehensive plan for managing and operating the program in adherence to all relevant federal and local regulations

. Armed/Unarmed Security Services: Shining Stars Montessori Academy seeks a qualified contractor to provide security for the building and grounds.

. Contracted Instruction: Shining Stars Montessori Academy seeks a qualified contractor to provide support during in-person and/or remote/virtual learning in all core content areas.

. Special Education Services: Shining Stars Montessori Academy seeks a qualified contractor to provide special education services to include, but not limited to, instructional support, evaluation, and related services.

. ELL/TESOL Services: Shining Stars Montessori Academy seeks a qualified contractor to provide English Language Learner education services to include, but not limited to, instructional support and assessment evaluation.

. Technology Maintenance and Support Services: Shining Stars Montessori Academy seeks a qualified contractor to submit qualifications and proposals to provide IT Maintenance support service.

. Training and Development: Shining Stars Montessori Academy seeks a qualified contractor to provide training in the following areas: professional development for staff, DEI/ equity-specific coaching, board, and parent training; community development and parent engagement.

. Project Management (Construction) & Architectural Services: Shining Stars Montessori Academy Public Charter School seeks interested parties to submit proposals to provide design, project management and architectural design consulting services.

. Nursing and/ or Allied Health Services: Shining Stars seeks a qualified contractor to provide nursing and health services.

. Licensed School Counselor or Social Worker Services: Shining Stars seeks a qualified and licensed school counselor or social worker to provide support to students.

. High Intensity Tutoring and/or Accelerated Learning Program Services: Shining Stars seeks a qualified contractor to provide intensity tutoring and/or accelerated learning services.

. Perimeter Fence & Gate Installation: Shining Stars seeks a qualified contractor to install a fence and gate around the school building.

. Playspace and Outdoor Learning Space Upgrade: Shining Stars seeks a qualified contractor to upgrade playspace and outdoor learning space to support students in grades PK-3-6.

Bidders can bid on the aforementioned projects by providing the following: an organizational capability statement, resume of principals, three (3) references, and evidence of prior work with private and/or public charter schools. All proposals must be submitted in PDF format and emailed to procurement@shiningstarspcs.org no later than 5:00 PM on February 04, 2025.
