3:30 p.m. SEA 2005-SU-007-04 - KOREAN CENTRAL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, SEA Appl. to amend SE 2005-SU-007 previously approved for a private school and child care center to allow an increase in daily enrollment of the school from 100 students to 300 students, and the child care from 100 children to 200 children and permit other modifications to the development conditions. Located on approx. 84.31 ac. of land zoned R-C and WS. Sully District. Tax Map 64-1 ((1)) 8, 9, 25, 26 and 27; 64-1 ((3)) 16 and 17; 64-2 ((3)) 18; 64-2 ((5)) 1, 2 and 3.
4:00 p.m. Public hearing on the acquisition pursuant to Virgina Code Sections 15.2-1901 through 15.2-1905 (as amended) of certain land rights necessary for construction of Project AB1400137-015, Cinder Bed Road Bikeway (Franconia District). This project is to provide a bikeway (shared use path/trail) between Newington Road and the Franconia-Springfield Metro Station. It will install a shared use path on Cinder Bed Road starting at Newington Road, connecting with the existing trail though the Fairfax County Park Authority property, and ending at the existing trail for the Metro Station at the end of Berry Road. The project includes constructing the bikeway as well as two pedestrian bridges along the bikeway path. The properties on which land rights need to be obtained include tax map parcels 099-2-01-0010, 099-2-01-0015B and 099-2-01-0016. Plans and plats describing the work proposed to be done and the property interests to be acquired for this project are on file in the Land Acquisition Division of the Department of Public Works and Environmental Services, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Suite 449, Fairfax, Virginia 22035.
4:00 p.m. Public hearing to consider proposed revisions to the Comprehensive Plan for Fairfax County, VA, in accordance with the Code of Virginia, Title 15.2, Chapter 22. Plan Amendment #2024-III-1P concerns approx. 8.05 ac. generally located at 9224, 9300 and 9304 Ox Road, Lorton, VA, 22079; Tax Map #106-4 ((1)) 17, 18, 19 (part), 27 and 27A in the Mount Vernon Supervisor District. The area is planned for residential use at a density of 0.2-0.5 dwelling units per acre. The amendment will consider residential use at a density of 2-3 du/ac. Recommendations relating to the transportation network may also be modified.
