Plan for Fiscal Year

(FY) 2026

A draft of Arlington County’s Annual Action Plan of the Consolidated Plan is available for review. The FY 2026 Action Plan is a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) required document that provides a summary of the actions, activities, and specific resources that will be used over the next year to address priority needs and specific goals identified by the 5-Year Consolidated Plan.

The Annual Action Plan for FY 2025 describes how funding from the following programs will be used:

Estimated Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) – Federal $1,679,439

Estimated HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) – Federal $898,792

Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) – State $178,925

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) – State $153,550

Affordable Housing Investment Fund (AHIF) Housing Services – Local $245,500

Arlington County General Fund – Local $50,000

Total $3,206,206

Citizen Participation is key to the development of the Action Plan. Residents are invited to provide comments at the following meetings

• Community Development Citizens Advisory Committee meeting on March

• County Board Budget Hearing on March 25, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. Location:

Ellen M. Bozman Government Center, 2100 Clarendon Blvd (County Board

Room) or Virtual Meeting.

NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT

Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year (FY) 2025

A draft of Arlington County’s amended FY 2025 HUD Annual Action Plan is available for review. Arlington is amending its FY 2025 Action Plan to incorporate a new activity and HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) funding for the Goodwill Redevelopment Project.

A copy of Arlington County’s amended FY 2025 Action Plan is available starting February 24, 2025 through March 26 for public review on the County’s website at http://www.arlingtonva.us/. Search for “FY 2025 Action Plan.”
