NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE COUNTY BOARD OF ARLINGTON COUNTY, VA, on March 27, 2025 cablecast and live-streaming on Arlington TV at 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as matters may be heard, hold a public hearing consider the following ordinance amendments and amendments to fee schedules:

Establishment of an interlibrary loan fee of $5.00 per transaction.
Ordinance, effective July 1, 2025, to amend, reenact, and recodify Arlington County Code Chapter 10 (Trash, Recycling, and Organics), Article I (Refuse), Section 10-8 (Trash, Recyclable Materials and Yard Trimmings Collection and Disposal Charges; Relief from Such Charges) to maintain the annual Household Solid Waste Rate of $415.75.
Ordinance, effective January 1, 2025, to amend, reenact, and recodify Chapter 26 (Utilities), Article III (Stormwater Utility), Section 26-120 (Stormwater Utility Fee) of the Arlington County Code to maintain the current Stormwater Utility rate of $258 per Equivalent Residential Unit. Ordinance, effective July 1, 2025, to amend, reenact, and recodify Chapter 26 (Utilities), Article I (General Provisions), Sections 26-9 (Water/Sewer Rates and Fees), 26-11 (Infrastructure Availability Fees), and 26-12 (Service Connection Charges) of the Arlington County Code to (a) increase water and sewer rates, new account fees, the Infrastructure Availability Fee, water connection fees, and meter installation fees and (b) establish automation enhancement surcharges. Ordinance to amend, reenact, recodify Chapter 65 (Meals, Food, and Beverage Tax) or Arlington County code to increase the meals tax rate from four to five percent. Effective 7/1/2025.
Ordinance to amend, reenact, recodify Chapter 27 (Miscellaneous Ordinances), Section 27-27 of the Arlington County Code to impose a recordation fee on wills and administration of $25 through Clerk of the Circuit Court. Effective 7/1/2025.

Ordinance to amend, reenact, recodify Chapter 8.1 (Fire Prevention) of the Code of Arlington County for incorporation of the latest changes made by the Virginia Statewide Fire Prevention Code and to include increases to fire prevention permit fees, fire prevention hourly rates, fire-work related fees, child daycare facilities, assembly facilities, special events, reinspection, and cancellation fees. In addition, new fees for false alarm fees (range of $400 to $700) and the addition of a new use permit fee for fire safety and technical inspections. Effective 7/1/2025.
