Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Fairfax at its meeting on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 7 p.m. in City Hall Annex, Room 100, 10455 Armstrong Street, Fairfax, Virginia, 22030, will hold a public hearing to consider the following:

Request from the City of Fairfax School Board, for consideration of a Special Use Permit pursuant to City Code §110-3.3.1 to allow temporary expansion of Providence Elementary School to allow existing modular temporary classrooms to remain in the RM Residential Medium zoning district on the premises identified as 3616 Jermantown Road and more particularly described as Tax Map Parcel 47-3-01-040.

Request from the City of Fairfax School Board, for consideration of a Special Use Permit pursuant to City Code §110-3.3.1 to allow temporary expansion of Fairfax High School to allow modular temporary classrooms to remain in the RM Residential Medium zoning district on the premises identified as 3501 Lion Run and more particularly described as Tax Map Parcel 58-1-02-003.

All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and express their views. Staff reports will be available five (5) days prior to the meeting date in the Office of Community Development & Planning, Annex Room 207, City Hall, 10455 Armstrong Street, and on the City of Fairfax webpage at www.fairfaxva.gov.
