TOWN OF VIENNA, VIRGINIA

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 15.2-107 of the Code of Virginia (1950) AS AMENDED AND THE Code of the Town of Vienna that a public hearing will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Room, Town Hall, 127 Center Street, South, Vienna, Virginia, for the purpose of receiving input on water and sewer rates by the Town of Vienna.

It is the intent of the Town Council, pursuant to authority granted under Section 6.1(a) of the Town of Vienna Charter and Section 15.2-2109 et seq, of the Code of Virginia (1950) as amended, to adopt an ordinance on May 19, 2025 continuing the following charges for water and sewer service furnished by the Town of Vienna:

Residential Block Structure (Quarterly Basis)

Water Consumption Charge 0 – 9,000 gallons $7.55/1000 gallons

9,001 – 18,000 gallons $8.25/1000 gallons

18,001 plus gallons $9.45/1000 gallons

Sewer Consumption Charge 0 – 9,000 gallons $12.00/1000 gallons

9,001 – 18,000 gallons $13.10/1000 gallons

18,001 plus gallons $15.10/1000 gallons

Residential Base Fee: $40.00/quarter

Commercial Block Structure (Quarterly Basis)

Water Consumption Charge 0 – 120,000 gallons $7.55/1000 gallons

120,001 – 360,000 gallons $8.25/1000 gallons

360,001 plus gallons $9.45/1000 gallons

Sewer Consumption Charge 0 – 120,000 gallons $12.00/1000 gallons

120,001 – 360,000 gallons $13.10/1000 gallons

360,001 plus gallons $15.10/1000 gallons

Commercial Base Fee:

up to 5/8” meter $65.00/quarter

1” meter $160.00/quarter

1.5” meter $325.00/quarter

2” meter $515.00/quarter

3” meter $1,035.00/quarter

4” meter $1,610.00/quarter
