NOTICE OF INTENT TO ENTER SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT

Apple Devices

KIPP DC intends to enter a sole source contract with Apple, Inc. for the purchase of various devices for KIPP DC staff and students. The decision to sole source was made because Apple, Inc. is uniquely qualified to provide technology equipment due to proprietary design of their equipment. KIPP DC’s existing technology is Apple-product based, and we want to continue with the current infrastructure. The cost of the contract will be approximately $1,200,000.
