NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED REVENUE BOND PLAN OF FINANCING BY FAIRFAX COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

Notice is hereby given that the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (the "Authority"), whose address is 8270 Greensboro Drive, Suite 850 Tysons, Virginia 22102 will hold a public hearing on the application of Westminster School (the "School"), an organization which is described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue of 1986, as amended (the “Code”). The School has requested the Authority to issue up to $7,500,000 of its revenue bonds at one time or from time to time to assist the School in financing or refinancing all or part of the costs of the following plan of financing (collectively, the "Plan of Financing") for the benefit of the School and its campus located at 3819 Gallows Road, Annandale, Virginia 22003: (a) the acquisition, development, construction, renovation and/or equipping of the School’s new athletic field, playground and retaining wall projects and the replacement of the School’s HVAC system and (b) costs of issuance related to the issuance of the revenue bonds and other related costs.

The issuance of revenue bonds as requested by the School will not constitute a debt or pledge of the faith and credit of the Commonwealth of Virginia or the County of Fairfax, Virginia, and neither the faith and credit nor the taxing power of the Commonwealth of Virginia or any political subdivision thereof will be pledged to the payment of such revenue bonds.

The public hearing, which may be continued or adjourned, will be held at 6:00 o'clock p.m. on April 14, 2025, before the Authority at its offices at 8270 Greensboro Drive, Suite 850, Tysons, Virginia 22102. Any person interested in the issuance of the bonds or the location or nature of the proposed project may appear at the hearing and present his or her views.
