Notice Of Intent To Enter A Sole Source Contract

National Education Equity Lab

Friendship PCS is engaging in a partnership with National Education Equity Lab for duel enrollment classes. National Education Equity Lab is the only provider of College-in-High School courses for Title I or Title I-eligible high schools that wish to provide select college credit-bearing courses during the school day.

Additionally, competition is precluded by the existence of agreements with university partners, who have given National Education Equity Lab the right to support the delivery of College-in-High School courses to Title I or Title I-eligible high schools exclusively. There is no other program available for purchase that provides the select courses with university teaching fellows and additional student support. The equity effort, course enrollment costs is per student and includes all materials and support needed for the student to complete the 3-credit course.

The estimated yearly cost is approximately $70,000. The contract term shall be automatically renewed for the same period unless either party, 60 days before expiration, gives notice to the other of its desire to end the agreement.
