REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

General Contractor

Early Childhood Academy Public Charter School (ECAPCS) located at 885 Barnaby Street SE, Washington, DC 20032 is requesting proposals from qualified general contractors to improve the functionality of its 38,000 sq. ft. facility by reconfiguring select interior spaces and addressing specific program needs. The project includes the following primary objectives: creation of additional office spaces, addition of in-classroom sinks and toilet, as well as one new SPED classroom, installation of new flooring in targeted areas, addition of acoustic treatments in Multipurpose Room, and resolution of tripping hazard at front entry.

Additional specifications outlined in the RFP such as the Detailed Scope of Work and architectural drawings can be obtained beginning on Friday, April 25, 2025, from bids@ecapcs.org. Proposals will be accepted via email to bids@ecapcs.org no later than Friday, May 9, 2025, by 5:00 p.m.
