NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Bailey’s Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department, a Virginia nonstock, nonprofit corporation (“BXRVFD"), will hold a public hearing regarding the incurrence by BXRVFD of a not to exceed $600,000 tax-exempt loan from a private lender selected by BXRVFD (the “Loan”) to finance the acquisition of two 2022 Ford F-550 Type 1 Ultramedics chassis constructed as emergency vehicles and any additional configuration equipment to be based at BXRVFD's fire station located at 3601 Firehouse Lane, Falls Church, Virginia 22041 and to be used by BXRVFD in providing emergency medical and firefighting services to the Bailey’s Crossroads area of Fairfax County (the "Project").

The incurrence of such Loan by BXRVFD will not constitute a debt or pledge of the faith and credit of the Commonwealth of Virginia or the County of Fairfax, Virginia, and neither the faith and credit nor the taxing power of the Commonwealth of Virginia or any political subdivision thereof, including the County of Fairfax, Virginia, will be pledged to the payment of such Loan. The Loan will be payable solely by BXRVFD and the security pledged by BXRVFD to its private lender.

The public hearing, which may be continued or adjourned, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2025 in the Training Room at 3601 Firehouse Lane, Falls Church, Virginia 22041. The public hearing is required by Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. Any interested person may appear at the public hearing and express his or her views on the proposed incurrence of such Loan and the location and nature of the Project to be financed.
