4:00 p.m. Public hearing to consider the sublease of property known as Ash Grove House at 8881 Ashgrove House Lane in Hunter Mill Magisterial District, identified by Tax Map No. 0282 13 B, to Sheila Consaul as part of the Fairfax County Resident Curator Program. 4:00 p.m. Public hearing to consider adoption of an ordinance to amend Appendix H of the Fairfax County Code to approve the transfer of the cable franchise held by Comcast of Virginia, LLC. The County’s cable franchise for the Reston Franchise Area is currently held by Comcast of Virginia, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Comcast Corporation. (The Reston Franchise Area lies almost entirely within the Hunter Mill District, with a small part extending into the Sully District.) Comcast wishes to transfer the franchise to Comcast Cable Communications Management, LLC, a separate wholly-owned subsidiary of Comcast Corporation. No change of control or of ultimate ownership would be involved.
