Proposed Limited Access Control Change Arlington View Connector Trail Arlington County Willingness for Public Comment

The Arlington County Department of Environmental Services (DES) and the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) invite you to review information about a proposed change in limited access control along southbound I-395 adjacent to the proposed Arlington View Connector Trail project. The subject limited access control boundary extends roughly between 13th Road South and a private road accessing the Army Navy Country Club. This change request is due to existing site constraints that result in encroachment by the proposed county project. This project will involve changes in limited access control.

The Commonwealth Transportation Board will consider the proposed limited access change at a future meeting.

If your concerns cannot be satisfied, VDOT is willing to hold a public hearing. You may request that a public hearing be held by sending a written request to Mr. Mark Dennis, Arlington County Department of Environmental Services, 2100 Clarendon Boulevard, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22201 on or prior to September 30, 2025. If upon receiving public comments it is deemed necessary to hold a public hearing, notice of date, time and place of the hearing will be posted.
