3:30 p.m. Public hearing to consider proposed revisions to the Comprehensive Plan for Fairfax County, VA. Plan Amendment #SSPA-2023-II-1M concerns approx. 10.16 ac. generally located at 7600 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA “Tax Map Parcel # 40-1 ((1)) 39” in the Dranesville Supervisor District. The area is planned at the base level for residential use at 5-8 du/ac. The amendment will consider an option for residential use up to 12-16 dwelling units per acre (du/ac), subject to conditions, permitting 122-162 single-family attached dwellings with a maximum height of 50 feet. 4:30 p.m. Public hearing to consider the adoption of an amendment to The Code of the County of Fairfax, Virginia (Fairfax County Code), which will be set forth in Appendix G, to consider establishment of the Gambrill Residential Permit Parking District (RPPD), District 51 (Springfield District). The proposed RPPD would be established in accordance with and subject to the provisions set forth in Article 5A of Chapter 82 of the Fairfax County Code, and encompass the following street block: Swope Court (Route 4117), from Gambrill Road to the cul-de-sac inclusive. The proposed RPPD would be expanded in accordance with and subject to the provisions set forth in Article 5A of Chapter 82 of the Fairfax County Code and encompass the following street block: Fenwood Drive (Route 4181), between Roxbury Avenue and Oakford Drive. 4:30 p.m. Public hearing to consider the adoption of an amendment to The Code of the County of Fairfax, Virginia, (Fairfax County Code) which will be set forth in Appendix R, prohibiting parking of commercial vehicles; watercraft; boat trailers; motor homes; camping trailers; any other trailer or semi-trailer, as defined, respectively, in Fairfax County Code §§ 82-5-7, 82-5B-1 and 82-1-2(a), regardless of whether such trailer or semi-trailer is attached to another vehicle; any vehicle with three or more axles; any vehicle that has a gross vehicle weight rating of 12,000 or more pounds except school buses used on a current and regular basis to transport students; any vehicle designed to transport 16 or more passengers including the driver, except school buses used on a current and regular basis to transport students; and any vehicle of any size that is being used in the transportation of hazardous materials as defined in Virginia Code § 46.2-341.4 on the south side of South Street, from Arlington Boulevard Service Road to the northeastern property line of 6430 Arlington Boulevard, at all times. The proposed restrictions would be established in accordance with, and be subject to, the provisions of Fairfax County Code Section 82-5-37.
