DISPOSITION OF A PORTION OF PUBLIC

PARKING GARAGES 4, 5, 7, AND 9

Pursuant to Section 11B-45(a)(4) of the Montgomery County Code (2024) as amended, the County Executive or his Designee shall conduct a virtual Public Hearing via the internet-based platform known as Zoom at 1:00 PM on October 28th, 2025, to consider the possible disposition of 36 spaces of 8110 Fenton Street (G4), 127 spaces of 1101 Bonifant Street (G5), 150 spaces of 8530 Cameron Street, and 66 spaces of 8040 Kennet Street located in and managed by the Silver Spring Parking Lot District for the installation of solar energy systems in partnership with a private developer. The developer will provide and install green roof infrastructure and solar panels. These will allow the previously underutilized spaces to generate additional revenue.

In addition to the Hearing Registration form, the QR will provide details regarding the terms of the proposed disposition and compensation to be received.

After the aforementioned Hearing, the Hearing Officer shall report his findings and recommendations to the County Executive for further consideration as prescribed by the County Code.
