Notice of Intent to Enter Sole Source Contract

Mundo Verde Bilingual Public Charter School (MVPCS) intends to enter into a Sole Source Contract with Kristin Scotchmer, the school’s founder and former Executive Director. This contract is intended to leverage her unparalleled institutional knowledge, strategic expertise, and deep understanding of Mundo Verde’s history, mission, and operations to support the continued development of Instituto Mundo Verde (IMV).

Cost:

The total cost of this engagement is estimated at $50,000, inclusive of all deliverables and consulting services described above.

Public Notice:

This notice is published in compliance with the DC Public Charter School Board's requirements for sole source contracts. It is being issued at least seven business days prior to the Award Date, in the D.C. Register and two newspapers of general circulation. Any objections to this sole source procurement should be directed to Rocio Yoc at ryoc@mundoverdepcs.org no later than 3:00 pm on November 21, 2025.

Award and Execution:

The Sole Source Contract will be awarded after the close of business on November 21, 2025. The contract execution and effective date will adhere to PCSB policies.
