4:00 p.m. Public hearing on the proposed vacate a portion of a 20-foot-wide alley pursuant to Virginia Code § 15.2-2272(2), located south of Belle Haven Road, west of Potomac Avenue and north of Old Towne Road, consisting of approximately 2,250 square feet, in the location as shown on that certain plat entitled “Plat Showing the Vacation of an Alley Creating Outlot A and Outlot B New Alexandria (Deed Book N-5, Page 254 & Plat Book 5, Page 70) Mount Vernon District Fairfax County, Virginia”, dated July 14, 2025, and prepared by RC Fields & Associates, Inc. 4:00 p.m. Public hearing to extend a lease of County-owned property at 4618 West Ox Road to Republic Services of Virginia, LLC in the Springfield District. Copies of the draft lease extension , and/or possibly other documents relating to the aforementioned subjects, are on file and available for review on the County’s website at www.fairfaxcounty.gov and at the office of the Clerk for the Board of Supervisors, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Suite 552, Fairfax, VA (703-324-3151). 4:00 p.m. Public hearing to consider the adoption of an amendment to The Code of the County of Fairfax, Virginia (Fairfax County Code), which will be set forth in Appendix G, to consider expanding the Cedar Residential Permit Parking District (RPPD), District 35 (Providence District). The proposed RPPD would be expanded in accordance with and subject to the provisions set forth in Article 5A of Chapter 82 of the Fairfax County Code and encompass the following street blocks: Acorn Circle (Route 992) from Cedar Lane to the cul-de-sac inclusive. 4:00 p.m. Citizens and businesses of Fairfax County are encouraged to present their views on issues of concern. The Board will hear public comment on any issue except issues under litigation, issues which have been scheduled for public hearing before the Board (this date and future dates), personnel matters, and/or comments regarding individuals. Each speaker may have up to three minutes and a maximum of 10 speakers will be heard. Speakers may address the Board only once during a six-month period. Individuals wishing to provide public comment must sign up in advance no later than 12:00 p.m. on the day of the public comment period either online at https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/bosclerk/speakers-form or by calling 703-324-3151.
