The Department of Environmental Protection is evaluating an application to renew the Quarry License of Amrize, Mid Atlantic Inc., for a period of three years. The Director of Environmental Protection is interested in hearing any factual testimony relevant to the decision to grant, modify or deny the license renewal.

All interested parties and persons directly affected by this license renewal are invited to provide written or oral testimony.

The license renewal documents are available for public inspection and may be viewed on the Department’s website by visiting the Quarry page at:

https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/DEP/contact/quarry.html. Also, a copy of the license renewal application is available for review at the Quince Orchard Library located at 15831 Quince Orchard Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland.
