Application for Annual Quarry License Certification

Ben Porto & Son, LTD/Tri-State Stone & Building Supply, Inc.

The Department of Environmental Protection is currently evaluating the annual quarry license certification submitted by Tri-State Stone & Building Supply, Inc., 8200 Seven Locks Rd., Bethesda, MD. Quarry Licenses are granted for three years, with the requirement that all license application information be certified as correct annually in the years between renewal.

The certification documents are available for public inspection and may be viewed on the Department’s website by visiting the Quarry page at:

https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/DEP/contact/quarry.html.

The Department will receive written comments on the completeness and accuracy of the certification for 14 days after publication of this notice. On request of any interested party during the 14-day comment period, the Department must conduct an informational meeting within 30 days to receive public comments concerning the completeness and

accuracy of the certification.
