The Government of the District of Columbia is soliciting electronic Bids for the following:

CAPTION: MPD Duty and Training Ammunition

The District of Columbia Office of Contracting and Procurement, representing the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), is in search of supplier(s) for the manufacturing and delivery of ammunition intended for both training and operational duties of MPD personnel. The Firearms Training Unit at the Metropolitan Police Academy (MPA) holds the responsibility of training MPD personnel on the various weapons systems utilized by the Department, as determined by their specific assignments. This encompasses, but is not limited to, pistols, rifles, and sub-guns. Every MPD member is required to undergo bi-annual pistol requalification. Therefore, it is critical that the Department has reliable supplier(s) to meet such imminent and ongoing needs.
