THIS CAUSE came before the Court upon the Petition for Authority to Cremate Remains that has been filed by the City of Alexandria (“City”), a municipal corporation of Virginia, requesting authority to cremate the remains of MARIE WEBER, Deceased, who died on August 19, 2025, and whose remains are unclaimed; and

IT APPEARING to the Court that the provisions of § 54.1-2818.1 and § 32.1-309.2 of the Code of Virginia 1950, as amended, have been complied with; and that the attached Notice is appropriate, it is hereby

ORDERED that the attached Notice is hereby incorporated by reference into this Order of Publication; and it is further

ORDERED that this Order of Publication and Notice be published once a week for two successive weeks in the WASHINGTON TIMES, and it is further

ORDERED that a copy of this Order of Publication, including the Notice, be posted at the front door of the Alexandria Courthouse.
