Public hearing before the Planning Commission of Fairfax County, Virginia, to be held at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, Virginia 22035.

Plan Amendment (PA) 2022-III-BR1 concerns approx. 3,029 ac. generally located around the confluence of Interstate 66, Route 28, and Route 29 in the Sully Supervisor District. The area is planned for a mix of uses organized around a higher-density Suburban Center near major transportation corridors and surrounded by lower-density Suburban Neighborhoods that transition to adjacent residential areas. The amendment will consider updating Comprehensive Plan guidance to allow for an increase in mixed-use development potential including housing across six proposed opportunity areas. New Plan recommendations emphasize design, mobility, and development flexibility. Recommendations relating to the transportation network may also be modified.

At the public hearing, interested persons will be given an opportunity to express their view regarding the application.
