4:00 p.m. Public hearing to consider an amendment to Chapter 7-0800 (Streets, Street Lights, Parking and Driveways) of the Public Facilities Manual (PFM). The proposed amendment includes but is not limited to (1) Establishing streetlight waiver criteria and other updates to Section 7-0801 (General Information), (2) Revising, consolidating and simplifying the general requirements in Section 7-0802 (General Requirements), (3) Revising technical standards and criteria now in Section 7-0803 (Standards and Criteria), (4) Relocating and updating the nonstandard streetlight provisions now in Section 7-0804 (Nonstandard Streetlights), and (5) Relocating and updating the authorization and procedures now in Section 7-0805 (Authorization and Procedures). The amendment proposes revisions to Plates 23-7, 24-7, 25-7, 26-7, 28-7, 29-7, 29A-7, and 30-7, and removes Plate 27-7 from the PFM. 4:00 p.m. Public hearing to consider the adoption of an amendment to The Code of the County of Fairfax, Virginia (Fairfax County Code), which will be set forth in Appendix G, to consider expanding the Edison Residential Permit Parking District (RPPD), District 50. The proposed RPPD would be expanded in accordance with and subject to the provisions set forth in Article 5A of Chapter 82 of the Fairfax County Code and encompass the following street blocks: the east side of Brookland Road, from the northern property boundary of Tax Map #81-4((39))A to Foldi Street; and from Franconia Road to Foldi Street on the west side; the east side of Pratt Street, from Brookland Road to Foldi Street; and from Brookland Road to the northern property boundary of Tax Map #81-4((8)) 0005; then from the southern property boundary of Tax Map #81-4((8))0006 to Foldi Street on the west side; and the south side of Foldi Street, from Pratt Street to Brookland Road in the Franconia District. 4:00 p.m. Public hearing to consider the adoption of an amendment to The Code of the County of Fairfax, Virginia (Fairfax County Code) to add Section 82-2-10 relating to changing speed limits on certain highways within business or residence districts. Copies of the full text of proposed ordinances, plans, and amendments, as applicable, and/or possibly other documents relating to the aforementioned subjects, are on file and available for review on the County’s website at www.fairfaxcounty.gov and at the office of the Clerk for the Board of Supervisors, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Suite 552, Fairfax, VA (703-324-3151).
