PUBLIC HEARING AND REPORTS
The report on the evaluation of the Madeline V. Waters House Master Plan Historic Site will be available online one-week before the June 24, 2026, hearing: https://montgomeryplanning.org/planning/historic/historic-preservation-commission/hpc-

The Montgomery County Historic Preservation Commission will review the architectural and historic significance of the site according to the criteria listed in the Historic Resources Preservation, Chapter 24A of the Montgomery County Code. The Commission will formulate a recommendation on whether or not the property merits its historic designation status, and will transmit that recommendation to the Montgomery County Planning Board.
The purpose of the public hearing is to provide an opportunity for all interested persons to express their views and to take testimony on whether or not the following historic site should be retained in the Master Plan for Historic Preservation.
