PLANNING COMMISSION

JULY 8, 2026, AT 7:30 P.M.

Public hearing before the Planning Commission of Fairfax County, Virginia, to be held at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, Virginia 22035.

Plan Amendment #SSPA 2023-I-1A concerns approximately 8.11 acres generally located on the south side of Gallows Road, approximately 600 feet east of the Capital Beltway (Interstate 495) (Tax Map 59-2 ((1)) 29A, 29B, 30-36, 41, 42, 43 and 43A) in the Mason Supervisor District. The area is planned for residential use at 1-2 dwelling units per acre (du/ac). The amendment will consider adding an option for residential use at 3-4 du/ac. Recommendations relating to the transportation network may also be modified.

At the public hearing, interested persons will be given an opportunity to express their view regarding the application.
