NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Fairfax at its meeting on Monday, July 27, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall Annex, Room 100, 10455 Armstrong Street, Fairfax, Virginia, 22030, will hold a public hearing to consider the following:

Z-24-00236, CPA-24-00237 and GDPA-24-00238

Request from R.J.L. Associates, Inc., applicant, by Bean, Kinney & Korman, PC, agent/attorney, for consideration to amend the existing General Development Plan for Mantua Professional Center, change the Comprehensive Plan Place Type from Commercial Corridor to Townhouse/Single-Family Attached Neighborhood, a Zoning Map Amendment (Rezoning) pursuant to City Code Sections 110-6.4 and 110-6.6, from PDC – Planned Development- Commercial to PDR – Planned Development-Residential while retaining the Architectural Control Overlay District (ACOD) for a portion of the site, and approval of a Master Development Plan with modifications and commitments, pursuant to City Code Section 110-3.8 (Planned Development Districts); to allow the development of townhouses on the premises known as 9495 Silver King Court and more particularly described as Tax Map Parcel 58-2-10-001-A1.

All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and express their views. Information regarding this item may be obtained by contacting the Office of Community Development & Planning, Annex Room 207, City Hall, 10455 Armstrong Street, Fairfax, Virginia, 22030. Staff reports will be available at least five (5) days prior to the meeting date in the same location and posted on the City of Fairfax website at www.fairfaxva.gov.
