NOTICE OF TELEPHONIC PUBLIC HEARING

WITH RESPECT TO PROPOSED REVENUE BOND FINANCING

Notice is hereby given that the District of Columbia (the “District”) will hold a telephonic public hearing with respect to the proposed reissuance by the District of its tax-exempt Revenue Bonds (International Spy Museum Project) Series 2016A and Series 2016B, in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $52,000,000 (the “Bonds”). The proceeds of the Bonds were used to make a loan to the International Spy Museum (the “Borrower”), a nonprofit museum organization. The loan was used to: (A) acquire and construct a new museum facility of approximately 110,000 square feet (together with associated parking facilities and other property, real and personal) on certain air rights above a portion of the vacant land commonly known as the Center Parcel of L’Enfant Plaza, located at 700 L’Enfant Plaza, S.W. (formerly 900 L’Enfant Plaza, S.W.), Washington, D.C. 20024 ; (B) pay certain working capital expenditures associated with the foregoing, to the extent financeable; and (C) pay allowable costs of issuing the Bonds.

All of the facilities are owned or operated by the Borrower. The Bonds will be special, limited obligations of the District payable from loan payments received from the Borrower and other amounts pledged therefor.
