NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the McLean Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., a Virginia non-stock, not-for-profit corporation (“MVFD"), will hold a public hearing regarding the incurrence by MVFD of a not to exceed $425,000 tax-exempt loan from a private lender selected by MVFD (the “Loan”) to finance the acquisition of a Pierce Velocity Pumper fire truck and related firefighting apparatus to be based at MVFD's fire station located at McLean Fire Station #1, 1455 Laughlin Avenue, McLean, Virginia 22101 to be used by MVFD in providing emergency firefighting services to the McLean area of Fairfax County (the "Project").

The incurrence of such Loan by MVFD will not constitute a debt or pledge of the faith and credit of the Commonwealth of Virginia or the County of Fairfax, Virginia, and neither the faith and credit nor the taxing power of the Commonwealth of Virginia or any political subdivision thereof, including the County of Fairfax, Virginia, will be pledged to the payment of such Loan. The Loan will be payable solely by MVFD and the security pledged by MVFD to its private lender.

The public hearing, which may be continued or adjourned, will be held at 5:00 p.m. on August 12, 2026 at McLean Fire Station #1, 1455 Laughlin Avenue, McLean, Virginia 22101. The public hearing is required by Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. Any interested person may appear at the public hearing and express his or her views on the proposed incurrence of such Loan and the location and nature of the Project to be financed.
