COUNTY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA AVAILABILITY OF CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AND EVALUATION REPORT FOR

FISCAL YEAR 2026

Fairfax County’s Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) has prepared a Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026. The FY 2026 CAPER evaluates the County’s use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) program funds for the period from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. Members of the public are invited to review the draft report and provide comments before the final draft is submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The draft FY 2026 CAPER is available online at: http://bit.ly/4zleHT7, and this public comment period runs from August 24, 2026 through September 18, 2026.

Physical copies of the draft CAPER are also available for review during regular business hours at the information desks at the Fairfax County Government Center (12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax), the Gerry Hyland Government Center (8350 Richmond Highway, Alexandria), the Department of Housing and Community Development (3700 Pender Drive, Fairfax), each Fairfax County Public Library branch, and other public facilities where advertised on-site.
