4:00 p.m. Public hearing to consider proposed revisions to the Comprehensive Plan for Fairfax County, VA. Plan Amendment 2026-III-UP2 concerns approx. 16.5 ac. generally located at 1513 and 1531 Cameron Crescent Drive in Reston [Tax Map # 17-2 ((16)) 1A and 17-2 ((14)) (01) 2G] in the Hunter Mill Supervisor District. The area is planned for high and medium density residential use. Under the Redevelopment Option, it is planned for no more than 902,000 sq ft. The residential component may consist of up to 900,000 sq ft. (up to 750 multifamily dwelling units), and the non-residential component may consist of up to 2,000 sq ft. The proposed RPPD would be expanded in accordance with and subject to the provisions set forth in Article 5A of Chapter 82 of the Fairfax County Code and encompass Felix Street from Westmoreland Street to Broyhill Street (Dranesville District). 4:00 p.m. Public hearing to consider the adoption of an amendment to The Code of the County of Fairfax, Virginia, (Fairfax County Code) which will be set forth in Appendix R, prohibiting parking on the north side of Boone Boulevard adjacent to public right of way from the eastern entrance from Route 123, extending to the east for a distance of 450 feet, excluding areas designated as "No Parking" by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) at all times (Providence District). The proposed restrictions would be established in accordance with, and be subject to, the provisions of Fairfax County Code Section 82-5-37. 4:00 p.m. Public hearing to consider the adoption of an amendment to The Code of the County of Fairfax, Virginia (Fairfax County Code), which will be set forth in Appendix M, to consider establishment of the Dranesville Community Parking District (CPD). The Dranesville CPD would be established in accordance with and subject to the provisions set forth in Article 5B of Chapter 82 of the Fairfax County Code. The establishment would encompass secondary streets in all residential communities located within two areas described as beginning at Leesburg Pike at the Loudoun County Line, then south along the Loudoun County Line to the Town of Herndon Corporate Line; then east along the Town of Herndon Corporate Line to the Hunter Mill District boundary; then north along the Hunter Mill District boundary to Leesburg Pike; then west along Leesburg Pike to the Loudoun County Line; and beginning at the Town of Herndon Corporate Line at the Loudoun County Line, then south along the Loudoun County Line to the Sully District boundary; then southeast along the Sully District boundary to the Hunter Mill District boundary; then north along the Hunter Mill District boundary to the Town of Herndon Corporate Line; then west along the Town of Herndon Corporate Line to the Loudoun County Line (Dranesville District). CPD restrictions in the establishment area would at all times prohibit the parking of watercraft, boat trailers, motor homes, camping trailers, any other trailer or semi-trailer, regardless of whether such trailer or semi-trailer is attached to another vehicle; any vehicle with three or more axles; any vehicle that has a gross vehicle weight rating of 12,000 or more pounds, except school buses used on a current and regular basis to transport students; any vehicle designed to transport 16 or more passengers including the driver, except school buses used on a current and regular basis to transport students; and any vehicle of any size that is being used in the transportation of hazardous materials as defined in Virginia Code § 46.2-341.4. No such CPD shall apply to (i) any commercial vehicle when discharging passengers or when temporarily parked pursuant to the performance of work or service at a particular location, (ii) utility generators located on trailers and being used to power network facilities during a loss of commercial power, (iii) restricted vehicles temporarily parked on a public street within any such CPD for a maximum of 48 hours for the purpose of loading, unloading, or preparing for a trip, or (iv) restricted vehicles that are temporarily parked on a public street within any such CPD for use by federal, state, or local public agencies to provide services.
4:30 p.m. Public hearing to consider proposed amendments to Fairfax County Code Sections 82-5-32.1, Trespass Towing Advisory Board, and 82-5-32.2, Department of Cable and Consumer Services. The proposed amendments to Fairfax County Code Section 82-5-32.1 conform with the amended Virginia Code § 46.2-1233.2, which took effect on July 1, 2026, and include: 1) Updates to the composition of the Fairfax County Trespass Towing Advisory Board; and 2) Updates to vacancies, chairperson's term, term limits, and quorum requirements. The proposed amendment to Fairfax County Code Section 82-5-32.2 updates "operator registration certificates" to "operator permits." The proposed amendments also include other minor revisions and conforming changes. The Board will hear public comment on any issue except issues under litigation, issues which have been scheduled for public hearing before the Board (this date and future dates), personnel matters, and/or comments regarding individuals. Each speaker may have up to three minutes and a maximum of 10 speakers will be heard. Speakers may address the Board only once during a six-month period.
