TITLE: Software Developer

EMPLOYER: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc.

DUTIES: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Software Developer, and the job duties are as follows:

- Research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.

- Plan system and development deployment as well as be responsible for meeting software compliance standards.

- Evaluate interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system.

- Document testing and maintenance of system corrections.

LOCATION: Fairfax, VA (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.)

REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in software development.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

- Designing and building web-based enterprise application with Java;

- Creating REST webservices and persisting objects in Relational Databases;

- Utilizing Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server;

- Working on Front End frameworks, including HTML, CSS, NPM, or Angular; and

- Utilizing Java Design Patterns, Hibernate, Maven, JUNIT5, GITHUB, Postman, or Java Mockito mock tools for testing.

Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following:

- Java development using Java, Spring boot framework, or ORM Hibernate framework; and

- Creating and improving TDD coverage using JUnit, Cucumber, Karma, or Jasmine.

Telecommuting permitted up to 75% from assigned location.

Must be willing to relocate to various unanticipated work locations throughout the U.S.
