TITLE: Functional Analyst (SME)

EMPLOYER: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc.

DUTIES: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Functional Analyst (SME) in Fairfax, VA, and the job duties are as follows:

- Deep functional industry knowledge and expertise in a business area not currently identified as a core business.

- Analyzes actual and predictable interacting operational activities of a military, governmental, or business system to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision-making or resource allocation.

- Utilizes modeling and measuring techniques, mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques, and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines in determining solutions.

LOCATION: Fairfax, VA

REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 7 years of experience (of which 5 years must be progressive post-baccalaureate experience) in the IT industry.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

- Developing government Enterprise Resource Planning solutions;

- Software implementation or solutions engineering;

- Conducting competitive analysis by analyzing customer research and market trends to make product decisions;

- Roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder alignment; and

- Gathering and translating user feedback into product improvements.

Must have 4 years of experience utilizing product management tools, including Jira, Confluence, Aha!, or Productboard.

Must have 3 years of experience working in Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Telecommuting permitted up to 20% from assigned location.
