TITLE: Programmer/Analyst

EMPLOYER: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc.

DUTIES: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Programmer/Analyst, and the job duties are as follows:

- Build and code applications and/or modules using languages such as C++, Visual Basic, ABAP, JAVA, XTML, Objective C, HTML 5, .NET, etc.

- Provide patches and upgrades to existing systems.

- Design web based, mobile technology, cloud, and security interface to meet the specific needs of users.

- Prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

LOCATION: Fairfax, VA (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.)

REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in the IT industry.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

- Developing and maintaining backend applications using Java;

- Designing and implementing microservices-based architectures for scalable systems;

- Building dynamic and responsive user interfaces with AngularJS;

- Creating and integrating RESTful APIs and Web Services;

- Leveraging Spring framework for dependency injection, security, and data access; and

- Writing and optimizing SQL queries for data retrieval and management.

Telecommuting permitted up to 75% from assigned location.

Must be willing to relocate to various unanticipated work locations throughout the U.S.
