TITLE: Software Quality/Test Engineer

EMPLOYER: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc.

DUTIES: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Software Quality/Test Engineer, and the job duties are as follows:

- Debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.

- Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing.

- Analyze and write test standards and procedures.

- Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.

- Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.

- Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems.

- Provide feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.

- Ensure quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.

LOCATION: Fairfax, VA (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.)

REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT and business consulting services industry.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

- Performing Manual Quality Assurance Software Testing;

- Working with Quality Assurance and Quality Management;

- Utilizing Selenium, Java, DB2, SQL, Splunk, and PostMan for testing and analysis; and

- Defect management.

Must have 3 years of experience in writing and executing SQL queries for Database testing using Microsoft SQL Server developer tool.

Must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:

- Designing and developing Automation Test code in Java using Selenium WebDriver tool;

- Designing and developing Java based Behavior Drive Development Automation framework; and

- Working on public sector projects.

Telecommuting permitted up to 75% from assigned location.

Must be willing to relocate to various unanticipated work locations throughout the U.S.
