TITLE: Business Systems Analyst

EMPLOYER: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc.

DUTIES: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Business Systems Analyst, and the job duties are as follows:

- Act as a liaison between the business function and information systems.

- Provide technical/functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing basic systems.

- Employ business knowledge and perspective of IT needs to gather business specifications and requirements.

- Act as the primary contact to IT for the business unit’s moderately complex needs.

LOCATION: Fairfax, VA

REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT or business consulting services industry.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

- Writing SQL queries to analyze data behavior and mapping;

- Working with JIRA to manage sprint board and track user story progress;

- Leading stakeholder relationships to address changes in requirements, timelines, and sprint issues;

- Utilizing agile methodology to drive projects;

- Performing business analysis, including analyzing and gathering business requirements; and

- Working with unit testing to validate user stories.

Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

- Working with Oracle databases to design, implement, and optimize data storage solutions; and

- Working with Java to implement system design and architecture.
