TITLE: Programmer/Analyst

EMPLOYER: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc.

DUTIES: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Programmer/Analyst, and the job duties are as follows:

- Build and code applications and/or modules using languages such as C++, Visual Basic, ABAP, JAVA, XTML, Objective C, HTML 5, and .NET.

- Provide patches and upgrades to existing systems.

- Design web based, mobile technology, cloud, and security interface to meet the specific needs of users.

- Prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

LOCATION: Fairfax, VA

REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 4 years of experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following:

- Working on Java or J2EE development using Spring framework;

- Developing API solutions using RESTful and SOAP web services;

- Integrating Jenkins with Gitlab to create CI/CD pipelines; and

- Utilizing build tools, including Maven or Gradle.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

- Testing and quality assurance using Junit with Mockito tools;

- Leveraging Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL database management systems;

- Working with AWS cloud platforms utilizing RDS and Lambda services;

- Working on front-end development using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap;

- Designing and developing monitoring and logging solutions using Cloud Watch and Cloud Trail tools; and

- Working with Agile methodologies for software development.
