TITLE: Software Quality/Test Engineer

EMPLOYER: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc.

DUTIES: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Software Quality/Test Engineer in Fairfax, VA, and the job duties are as follows:

- Debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.

- Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts and program for testing.

- Analyze and write test standards and procedures.

- Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.

- Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.

- Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems.

- Provide feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.

- Ensure quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.

LOCATION: Fairfax, VA

REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 2 years of experience in the IT services industry.

Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

- Verifying and validating end-to-end functionality of test scripts;

- Creating and executing unit, integration, and system test scripts;

- Preparing Test Plans, Test Strategy Documents, and Test Summary Reports;

- Designing and implementing test automation frameworks using Selenium.

- Defining test cases using Gherkin; and

- Developing automated test case using Java.

Must have 1 year of experience leveraging SQL.

Telecommuting permitted up to 60% from assigned location.
