TITLE: Software Quality Assurance Analyst

EMPLOYER: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc.

DUTIES: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Software Quality Assurance Analyst and the job duties are as follows:

- Perform installations and run quality assurance programs to test, identify, reproduce, and report defects in software.

- Conduct a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.

- Draft, revise and approve test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy.

- Create test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow.

- Coordinate with users to plan user acceptance testing, alpha and beta testing.

- Ensure that system tests are successfully completed and documented and all problems are resolved.

LOCATION: Fairfax, VA (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.)

REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience in the IT consulting industry. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, employer will accept 2 additional years of experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

- Creating and executing unit, integration, and system test scripts using Junit, Postman, or TestNG;

- Preparing test plans, test strategy documents, and test summary reports;

- Perform requirements analysis using Jira and Confluence by documenting user stories and linking them to corresponding test cases;

- Working with Gherkin to write test scenarios for technical and non-technical team members;

- Automating web application testing using Selenium; and

- Working with Oracle SQL to query and validate database data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40% from assigned location.

Must be willing to relocate to various unanticipated work locations throughout the U.S.
