TITLE: Software Quality/Test Engineer

EMPLOYER: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc.

DUTIES: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Software Quality/Test Engineer and the job duties are as follows:

- Debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.

- Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts and program for testing.

- Analyze and write test standards and procedures.

- Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.

- Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.

- Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems.

- Provide feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.

- Ensure quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.

LOCATION: Fairfax, VA

REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

- Working with Selenium and Selenium Grid to implement test automation for web applications;

- Designing test automation frameworks using Java, TDD/BDD-Cucumber framework, and TestNG;

- Working with Agile Methodology to gather and analyze requirements;

- Working with GitHub to commit automation code;

- Working with Jenkins to trigger CI/CD pipelines;

- Working with Maven to manage dependencies, build automation tests, and implement Page Object Model with Extent Reports;

- Automating and validating RESTful web services using Rest Assured and Postman; and

- Executing functional and regression testing using test plans and strategies.
