TITLE: Software Quality/Test Engineer
EMPLOYER: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc.
DUTIES: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Software Quality/Test Engineer and the job duties are as follows:
- Debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.
- Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts and program for testing.
- Analyze and write test standards and procedures.
- Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
- Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.
- Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems.
- Provide feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
- Ensure quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.
LOCATION: Fairfax, VA (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.)
REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
- Designing and developing automation frameworks to support enterprise-level test automation;
- Working with Unix to create and edit folders and data files;
- Working with JMeter to develop scripts to automate performance testing;
- Using SQL to extract, transform, and load test data for testing and validation;
- Developing and implementing LoadRunner scripts to automate performance testing;
- Working with Java to develop automation frameworks and test scripts; and
- Developing and maintaining Selenium test automation scripts for functional, regression, and cross-browser testing.
Must have 4 years of experience leading agile projects using JIRA for task tracking, bug reporting, CI/CD integration, and performance analysis.
Telecommuting permitted up to 20% from assigned location.
Must be willing to relocate to various unanticipated work locations throughout the U.S.
