TITLE:Programmer/Analyst

EMPLOYER: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc.

DUTIES: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Programmer/Analyst, and the job duties are as follows:

- Build and code applications and/or modules using languages such as C++, Visual Basic, ABAP, JAVA, XTML, Objective C, HTML 5, .NET, etc.

- Provide patches and upgrades to existing systems.

- Design web based, mobile technology, cloud, and security interface to meet the specific needs of users.

- Prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

LOCATION: Fairfax, VA (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.)

REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in the IT industry.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

- Analyzing business and technical requirements to translate requirements into deliverable code;

- Developing and maintaining enterprise applications, utilizing MVS, JCL, VSAM, CICS, and batch processing;

- Working with GIT, CHANGEMAN, FILE-MANAGER, SPUFI, QMF, SDSF, or IBM Debugger;

- Building applications with SQL, JCL, or COBOL;

- Performing impact analysis for assigned changes and migrating approved changes to production;

- Coordinating and supporting production deployments, executing test cycles, and validating batch processing results;

- Investigating and resolving defects, production issues, and system discrepancies; and

- Analyzing tasks through JIRA for defect tracking, requirement analysis, and workflow management.

Telecommuting permitted up to 80% from assigned location.

Must be willing to relocate to various unanticipated work locations throughout the U.S.
