TITLE: Business System Analyst

EMPLOYER: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc.

DUTIES: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Business System Analyst, and the job duties are as follows:

- Act as a liaison between the business function and information systems.

-Provide technical/functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing basic systems.

- Employ business knowledge and perspective of IT needs to gather business specifications and requirements.

- Act as the primary contact to IT for the business unit’s moderately complex needs.

LOCATION: Fairfax, VA (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.)

REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT or business consulting industry.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

- Analyzing program requirements and preparing documentation in Jira to change existing programs;

- Preparing project status reports and publishing in Confluence;

- Designing and developing manual test cases, applying Quality Assurance methodologies, executing tests, or identifying issues resulting in application defects;

- Troubleshooting and resolving implementation issues through coordination with internal and external stakeholders;

- Performing functional or regression testing; and

- Developing recommendations for business process improvement.

Must have 2 years of experience Writing custom SQL queries using Oracle and SQL Developer.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40% from assigned location.

Must be willing to relocate to various unanticipated work locations throughout the U.S.

OFFERED WAGE: $152,048.00 per year
