TITLE: Software Developer

EMPLOYER: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc.

DUTIES: CGI Technologies and Solutions Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Software Developer, and the job duties are as follows:

- Research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.

- Plan system and development deployment as well as be responsible for meeting software compliance standards.

- Evaluate interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system.

- Document testing and maintenance of system corrections.

LOCATION: Fairfax, VA (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.)

REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting services industry.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

- Performing code development and debugging using modern integrated development environments, including Visual Studio Code;

- Supporting DevOps processes using tools such as Copado to manage release pipelines, deployments, and version control;

- Performing automated code quality analysis using tools such as CodeScan or equivalent static code analysis solutions;

- Using project management and collaboration tools, including Jira and Confluence, to support project tracking and maintain technical documentation;

- Managing incidents and service requests using IT service management platforms such as ServiceNow or Remedy;

- Using distributed version control systems, including GitHub, to support source code management and version control; and

- Developing and supporting database solutions using SQL or PL/SQL in relational database environments.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40% from assigned location.

Must be willing to relocate to various unanticipated work locations throughout the U.S.

OFFERED WAGE: $178,214.00 per year
